A state-of-the-art electrophysiological measuring station and two different 3D mapping systems (CARTO\u00ae3 and EnSite \u2122 NavX \u2122) are available for the treatment of all forms of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias. Complex anatomical cases, e.g. patients with congenital heart defects, can be treated using a stereotactic system, which can remotely guide the catheters to areas otherwise unreachable for manually guided catheters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We carry out a range of catheter ablation procedures, focusing on the ablation of reentrant supraventricular tachycardia, such as the WPW-syndrome, the ablation of atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT), typical atrial flutters and, most commonly, atrial fibrillation. Two methods are available for catheter-based ablation of atrial fibrillation: high-frequency ablation in combination with 3D mapping methods and cryoballoon ablation of the pulmonary veins.
